2008 Calulu Park Pinot Noir
Bought these a year ago from boccaccio cellars.. I was told they were made in a lighter style and a bottle opened 12 months ago certainly showed that. As I recall it had faint cherry fruit, a bit of stalky characters and some prickly spice on the finish.
However tonight...
red cherries and sweet spice on the nose. A silky palate of sweet cherry, a bit of violets and a light but delicate spice impression on the finish. A nice wine to sip on whilst chilling out.. I like it.
