2007 West Cape Howe Shiraz

Denmark, Western Australia; A$15

Rich aromas of dark plum and blackberry fruits, pepper and a stone fruit lift. In the mouth it has a lovely fleshy texture rich in purple-blackberry fruit, spice and fine French oak tannins. Great wine.

And I'll sneak in a couple more lovely 2007 WA shiraz in this review..

2007 Willow Bridge Estate Shiraz

Ferguson Valley, Western Australia; A$15

A lovely mix of rich plum fruit, black pepper and a slightly earthy character rounded off with coffee and cocoa characters. A solid shiraz and great value.

2007 Wise Shiraz

A dense wine full of peppery plum and boysenberry fruit, some savoury tomato fleshiness and a stalky tannin texture. Rich and satisfying WA Shiraz.
