1996 Penfolds Grange

Australia; A$560

Deep black and red fruit, raisins, lead pencil/graphite and rich mocha on the nose. Mirrored on the palate but
extra dimensions added by the superb mouthfeel - elegant yet rich, with assertive yet very fine and persistent
tannins. The wine closes with a long, lingering finish unfolding
dark chocolate, coffee and a infusion of spices of all sorts.
